  • Proficiency with manual fare builds, refunds, re-issues, cancellations and changes

  • Be the airfares and ticketing expert in the business

  • Quality control of air quotes

We are currently searching for a highly motivated business intelligence specialist to join our Perth team. The Business Intelligence Specialist develops, maintains and improves Globetrotter's business intelligence and data capture & storage platforms to align with the constantly changing internal and client business requirements. They will provide critical management information to stakeholders so that they can make evidence-based decisions. For internal stakeholders, this role ensures that our operational data is available to meet the needs of the business for decision making, operational efficiency, service delivery assurance and issue rectification. For external clients, this role supports a critical part of Globetrotter's service offering and maintains our commercial competitiveness by providing timely, accurate and complete travel and financial reporting as per our service agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model data according to business requirements

  • Customise reporting based on business requirements

  • Provide client management information to CRMs and internal stakeholders as required

  • Support decision making through provision of ad-hoc reports as required

  • Rectify data discrepancies.

Skills – Required:

  • The ability to structure and visualise data in a meaningful way

  • A logical and methodical approach with keen attention to detail

  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

  • A focus on timely and accurate data presentation

  • An understanding of SQL and database structures.

Skills – Desirable:

  • A basic understanding of server environments, APIs, scripting and automation

  • Experience with the Yellowfin Business Intelligence platform will be very highly regarded.
